The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde PW

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson was a surprising story, to say the least, that dives into the duality of human nature. Set in Victorian London, the story follows Dr. Henry Jekyll, a scientist who could hide his inner darkness with a mysterious potion. To be completely honest this book didn’t amaze me how everyone said it would. I found it to be very boring at times with most things being too straightforward for any imaginative thinking to evolve. Having said that it wasn’t as boring as some of the other books I have read in the past, which meant thankfully it wasn’t a complete bore.
