The Great Gatsby by F.Scott Fitzgerald. Now in chapter 9 nick is explains the events that took around the Great Gatsby’s death 2 months later.

But all this part of it seemed remote and unessential. I found myself on Gatsby’s side, and alone. as he lay in his house and didn’t move or breathe or speak, hour upon hour, it grew upon me that I was responsible, because no one else was interested-interested, I mean, with that intense personal interest to which every one has some vague right at the end. (pg. 135)

here I noticed nicks judge of character change where he’s speaking about the realization you kinda feel sorrow for his position and guilt that he feels responsible. I have finished the book now and over all id say it’s not something id recommend to people whose 1st language is not English. but very good suspense book.
