IRJE #4 Fazbear Frights 4-6

This book that I’m reading is all books 4 to 6 combined, it has 678 pages (plus a small story at the end with no page numbers). The start of the book the one I’m going to analyze is Step Closer. “A fishing  line zipped by his face again and he jerked to the left to avoid it” (p.34). Another thing like this happened again too.

“When he craned his head in another direction, he was surrounded by rows of lethal-looking knives and cleavers hanging above his head. A new wave of dizziness washed over him. He set his hand out for balance on the butcher table…Wham. A huge meat cleaver slammed down into the wood, barely missing his wrist” (pg.22)”

He was at a butchers shop to pick up meat and throughout his day, some “freak accidents have been happening”, hence the reason why he was getting dizzy, because he was remembering everything that as been happening. And seeing knives after all that must not be quite a pleasant sight. I love these quotes because they were actually foreshadowing what was to come, and even knowing what was going on throughout his day and then seeing him at a place with knives, it built up tension making me think that he was going to get slashed, or stabbed.
