So like yesterday was Halloween I think and I went trick or treating with Lilly and Polina and a few of Lilly’s other friends and I got like so much candy, it was totally awesome. I was suppose to be Eric Cartman from a tv show but then I ended up going as a skeleton. Well not like a full skeleton, like normal everyday clothes with skull makeup. Omg and I did my makeup at Lilly’s house after school while watching the show ‘Bojack horseman’. It was cool. And I didn’t even realize I was on the last few episodes, I was like omg noooo. So yesterday was chill, after trick or treating, her dad picked us up and drove us back to her house. Omg wait I forgot, when we were walking to her dad’s car, a couple came up to us and gave us a huge bag of candy because there were no more trick or treaters left so we had so much, we split it of course. By the time her dad drove us back, my mom had arrived to pick me up. And y’all Lilly gave me a green beanie like yay. So yeah that was how my day went yesterday. Byee

IRJE#3 The Great Gatsby
The book i’m reading ‘The Great Gatsby’ By F.Scott Fitzgerald. I am currently on chapter 8 where the main subject is Gatsby’s love for Daisy being confirmed by himself. He told the story about how she promised to wait for him till be was back from war, but she found her way to a man her parents approved of, and married him.
Perhaps Gatsby no longer cared. If that was true he must have felt that he had lost the old warm world, paid a high price for living too long with a single dream.
I believe that means more than what he’s just saying about Gatsby fail to win Daisy, is that he lost more of himself than he did her. Meaning the single dream was to have her and that what he was living off of, which is now broken.
IRJE#2Living The Confidence Code
The book I am reading right now is called Living the Confidence Code. I don’t have a good quote or something interesting from the book I am reading but there are a lot of good points during the book. I feel like this book is a great book because it tells real life scenarios from people around the world such as girls having to get married young in a certain country. There are a bunch more other stories.
