The play Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare is something that i dont think movies now are able to compare too. How they dont come close to the same kind of literature or the full way its made, The way the english is and how things may feel super old and can be difficult to follow along at times but had such a story line where you didnt really need to understand what they may have been saying to follow along but your able to understand the basic premises of it. I think even for being so “old” the movie was so fantastically writen and was done so well especially the acting and the characters for the time it was directed.
I think this movie compaired to the newer movies coming out cant compare to how they where especially with Ai and the very under finished animated look of most movies now, The movie had so much that alot of people try to capture but are unable to. How a lot of stuff now seems to be very half made and not a lot of thought put into them, where you can see every jump, every death and anything slightly exciting you can see from a mile away due to how similar everything may be. Romeo and Juliet is sum what predictable but in a way you hope so hard that is dosent happen but it still does strengthening the story line.
For me personally im not into romance movies very much but i thought Romeo and Juliet was such an amazing play and im jealous people may have gotten to see it live back when it was first writen. I loved the way the clothes where made and the big dresses the girls would wear durring the party scene and i wish we still had that kind of fashion. In conclusion I really enjoyed Romeo and Juliet and i think its a very good movie to show the evolution of english and some of Shakespeare work to more people/
