My favorite festival is Spring Festival. This is the most important traditional festival in China, which always fills my heart with joy and warmth. Before the festival, our whole family will thoroughly clean the house, stick red couplets on the door, and buy a lot of delicious food and candies. The whole house is filled with a festive atmosphere. On New Year’s Eve, we had a sumptuous family dinner together. We chatted and shared interesting stories from our daily lives. After dinner, we watched the Spring Festival Gala and waited for the arrival of the new year. On this evening, we will set off firecrackers to drive away all the bad luck from last year. I also enjoy receiving red envelopes from relatives. This not only brought me surprises, but also the best wishes. During holidays, I can visit relatives and friends, play outside, and enjoy happy moments with my family. The Spring Festival signifies reunion, happiness, and new hope. I look forward to it every year.
