To me, the movie made the biggest impression on me. It made me feel lots of different emotions and raised many curious questions. The movie mainly had the biggest toll on me because it showed many details and explained things from the points of view of WW1 veterans, which included many details and information that I didn’t know from the texts. The biggest thing for me was the visualization of things. In the movie it made me feel a lot more sad and even a little disturbed seeing what had happened to these poor soldiers, which had no idea what they were signing themselves up for. It showed photos of soldiers with body parts blown off, bleeding out, rotting in the ground, and many other disturbing images. It also showcased just how bad the quality of life was during the war. Soldiers slept in the muddy trenches with rats and other bugs and insects they witnessed their best friends be shot to death and many other traumatizing events. It made me feel grateful for everything that I have and the quality of life that I experience and am able to live every day. It also made me feel bad for all the soldiers as they went through such a difficult and scary time in history, and it was truly like living a nightmare. I think I did not fully understand just how terrible war was before watching this movie. Seeing all these scary and disturbing things, as well as hearing the soldiers talk about losing people that were important to them and going through these scary events every single day, made me truly realize the things they went through to serve for their country.

I 100% agree. the movie also left the biggest impression on me, partially because of its visual and auditory benefits, also because it was easy to watch and remember stuff that happened in it.
