Over the spring break I travelled with my ski team to Alberta for a race. It was Western Canadian Championships, so every ski team in Alberta, BC, and the Yukon were there, which was really cool to meet so many new people. It was an 8 day race including the travel on the plane. The race was okay other than I was supposed to be in 5 events but it rained so much that they only ran the races that were more important, not the fun events. So I ended up only doing 2 events because of this but on the days that it was cancelled the other kids on my team competed in events so I got to help out and free ski with my friends. This mountain was called Castle Mountain and it was beautiful. This was my first time at this mountain and it was super cool, it is on the border of Montana, U.S.A.
I hope next year I get to see the people I met at this raced because it was super fun.
