I’m not really sure what to write but I’ll talk about today. It was my first ASA at Brookes and I tried tennis with Ciel. I was a complete beginner, I genuinely had no clue what I was doing. I’m not really sure why I chose it, but for some reason I thought I’d be playing like high level competitive rallies on my first try but that wasn’t the case. It was mostly me just swinging and hoping the ball would go over the net, or sometimes missing it completely. It looks really easy when other people do it, but when I tried it, not how I expected. At one point I think I hit the ball so badly it flew into another random person’s court. After a bit, I started to get way better though. I just started to go for it. Still nowhere near the level I imagined, but we actually managed some decent hits and even had a rallies that lasted longer than expected against eachother. It was also way more tiring than I thought, but honestly pretty fun. I’d definitely play on my own time just to get better.
