“Anna O” is a book written by Matthew Blake which is about Anna Ogilvy an author who is accused of murdering two people while sleepwalking. After the double murder she fell asleep and didn’t wake up until now. Many people tried but no-one managed to get her back into real life. The next person who should try to solve the mystery is Ben, a psychologist who focussed on sleeping, and he already found out one important thing. “And what if I can’t wake her? I say. What if my theory doesn’t work? Donnely finishes buttoning his coat. He sighs, hollowed out by the days events. He stares at me with those cold, grey-green eyes. Then, sooner or later, he says dryly, Anna Oglivy will be free to kill again.” (page 22). This quote is important because it shows how important it is for Dr. Prince to wake Anna up and how much pressure is put on him. If Anna isn’t put in front of a judge in a short period of time you can’t accuse her for the murder.
