Even though I am sad about thinking to leave Brookes, I am also really excited about my summer holiday which is going to be 11 weeks long because the holiday schedules from Canada and Austria are different which is great for me. Last weekend my parents and my friends finally finished all planning and booking for summer and it turned out so different from what I thought it was going to be like. In the first week my mum is coming to pick me up and we will first drive through BC and maybe fly to Hawaii, then we are flying back to Austria but we will only stay at home for 2 days, after that we drive to Vienna to go to a Foo Fighters concert which I am looking forward to a lot. After coming back home a friend is taking me to Italy where her aunt lives and also we are driving to the coast to spend some time at the beach. The 4th week is the only week I am spending at home so I will probably spend it with doing sports and catching up on school work. The first half of August I will spend with one of my best friends in her house in Sweden where we will go surfing and eat Hot dogs (vegetarian) in IKEA. We were planning to go to Sweden together for two years and now we finally can. From Öland where their house is I will take a train to Kopenhagen and fly to Vienna where I spend 2 days in my uncle’s apartment. Then my family will come to Vienna too and we will fly to Bukarest together. When my dad told me that this years summer vacation will be in Rumania I first thought he was joking but now I really like that we go there since it is a country I only know very little about but I think can be interesting. So we are doing a kind of road trip through Rumania for 3 weeks and then we fly back home and school starts.
