Not my type of book!

I didn’t enjoy reading Master and Man because I found it really slow and boring. The way it was written made it hard to stay focused, and it felt like the story took forever to get anywhere. I know the author wanted to make the reader think about life and morals, but it just didn’t interest me. The long descriptions of the weather and the snowstorm were too much, and I kept wishing something more exciting would happen. The book didn’t grab my attention, and it felt more like a chore to read than something fun or interesting.

Another reason I didn’t like the book was because of the main character. Vasili was selfish and only cared about himself, and that made it hard to like him or care what happened. Even when he started to change at the end, it felt too late to matter. I also didn’t feel connected to the characters because they didn’t show much emotion until the very end. The writing style was old-fashioned, which made it even harder to connect with what was going on. I think the story could have been better if it had more action or more real emotion earlier on.

Overall, I didn’t like Master and Man because it was slow, hard to read, and not my type of story. I understand it was supposed to teach a lesson about kindness and caring for others, but it just didn’t make me feel anything. The story dragged on, and the characters didn’t stand out to me. I like books that are more exciting and easier to relate to, so this one just wasn’t for me.
