Even though I don’t like and watch too many romance and love movies and rather see ambition-driven films, such as the wolf of wallstreet and limitless, this one in particular was pretty nice because the story itself is a classic from Shakespeare and because it was something different that we usually do not do that much during the classes, for example the last time that we watched a movie in class was the Shall Not Grow Old and that was in late October. The fact that it was a movie and not reading it really helped me to understand better the story and to be less boring for me, however the language combined with the speed, the old sounds and the scenery used in the movie sometimes was harder to comprehend than reading and that is something that I didn’t liked that much. Another thing that I did not like that much was that the end of the movie was way too fast, in my opinion they needed to do it slower and more detailed, because after Romeo was banned from the city everything happened too fast and sometimes hard to process when joined together with the vocabulary. Something that I really liked about the Romeo and Juliet movie was how they implemented and the use of poetic phrases and citations during scenes, such as the part where Romeo interacted with Juliet for the first time in the dance. Another thing that I really enjoyed was the fight between Romeo’s friend and Tybalt, because it was the part that had the most action during the whole movie and it was also a key part since after Tybalt killed the friend and Romeo killed him, his relationship with Juliet was hard to continue.

During our three last English classes we saw the movie Romeo and Juliet and for me personally, I really enjoyed the movie.
