I think the movie was good, but I personally didn\u2019t like it. It brought to the stage what it wanted, a movie about love and hatred and difficult relations, but that\u2019s just something I wouldn\u2019t want to watch. The sets are very good and so were the clothings. The actors were good but I have a big problem with how fast Romeo and Juliet died. Most poisons don\u2019t kill instantly and those which do that, weren\u2019t found in Europe in that time. But for a fictional world I can understand it, but Juliet. She died in around five seconds after she stabbed herself. For that she would have been needed to hit a vital organ, which are protected by our rips, and then still only few would let you die nearly as fast as she did. She also didn\u2019t scream. When you stab yourself you will try to scream because it hurts. This will work in most cases, except when your lungs are stabbed in a very bad way. And Juliet didn\u2019t stab herself hard or deep enough. Away from the topic of death and to the topic of non existence. Montague was seen for two scenes whilst Capulet was seen for half a dozen. Overall you see an inequality in the screen time of characters. The Nurse had way more scenes than Friar Laurence although the Nurse looses her relevance and Laurence is seen much more. I also think it\u2019s strange to give a character the name Nurse. From the story I get it. Lady Capulet thinks a nurse wouldn\u2019t need a name and doesn\u2019t need to be remembered, but from the perspective of a watcher, it just seems lazy. And at the end I just wanna say: If anything happened 15 minutes earlier or later Romeo and Juliet would still be alive and the conflict between Capulet and Montague would go on for an indefinite timespan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
