I really enjoyed watching Romeo and Juliet and found it to be a very well made and engaging film. I thought the actors portrayed their roles very well and with a lot of sincerity, which made the characters feel more believable instead of overly dramatic. I also think that the actors, combined with the film as a whole, did a good job of portraying the nature of young love as intense and impulsive, Although I did feel that the physical affection between Romeo and Juliet was a bit excessive at times, I understand that this was probably intentional, because it emphasized how quickly they became attached to one another and showed how their relationship was driven more by strong emotions than by logic and thinking.<\/p>\n
One of the aspects I liked the most was the visuals of the film. The Italian setting, along with the cinematography, was beautiful, and Seeing the scenery and architecture made the film feel more immersive, and I think that the setting really helped reflect the time period the film is set in. The costumes were another highlight for me. They were very detailed and elegant, and I especially liked Juliet\u2019s dresses, which were very colourful and unique.<\/p>\n
Another element I liked was how the film balanced its romantic and tragic aspects. Even though it focused on the love between Romeo and Juliet, it also showed the consequences of their actions and the role that the conflict between their families played in shaping the outcome. I thought the ending was particularly emotional because it not only showed the tragedy of their deaths, but also showed how it affected their families which made the message of the story feel more significant.
