Last night, I was on the phone with my friend way too late. We weren\u2019t talking about anything important\u2014we were honestly just bored, joking around and saying random things like we usually do. At some point, she casually said, \u201cI kind of want to go to France and Italy this summer.\u201d It didn\u2019t sound serious at all, just a random thought. Normally, that would\u2019ve been the end of it, but this time I immediately said, \u201cWait, why don\u2019t we actually go?\u201d After a short pause, she replied, \u201cWait\u2026 yeah, why not?\u201d That was the moment everything started to change. We opened our laptops, started searching for flights, checking cities, and comparing routes. Within a few hours, we had already looked at travel dates, picked the places we wanted to visit, and even started thinking about what we would do there. We were still joking and laughing, but at the same time, we were actually planning something real. By the time we hung up, it was already early morning, and we had a rough itinerary. What started as a random sentence had turned into something real in just one night.<\/p>\n
Thinking back on it now, what surprises me the most is not just the idea of going to France and Italy, but how easily the decision happened. We didn\u2019t spend days thinking about it or trying to make a perfect plan\u2014we simply decided to take the idea seriously. I used to think that important decisions needed to be carefully planned and fully thought through, but this experience made me realize that sometimes meaningful choices can come from simple and spontaneous moments. It\u2019s not always about having everything under control, but about being willing to act when something feels right. Now, when I think about this summer, I don\u2019t just think about the places we might visit.
