The experience of moving to different countries has become my standard routine yet at times it still feels like a dream. I studied abroad in New Zealand last year. My current location is Canada. I recently traveled to the United States for my grandparents visit which required me to take three flights. My memories of each location create distinct impressions that tie together through my experiences.<\/p>\n
I initially believed that worldwide exploration would bring constant excitement to my life. The situation brings me happiness together with additional challenges which I did not anticipate. Each new location requires me to undergo fresh adjustments for the third time. I face three new challenges because I must adapt to three different things. I find it hard to recognize everything about people because their smallest behavior includes different speech patterns and body language. I experience two different states of self because I sometimes display confidence and independence while at other times I feel disconnected from my surroundings.<\/p>\n
Positive transformation has resulted from these experiences in my life. My travels have taught me to accept people from all cultures without forming negative judgments. I developed the ability to grasp international cultures because I have studied various cultural views. The necessity to depend on myself during unfamiliar circumstances has made me more self-sufficient.
\nThe extended trip to America caused me to reflect on this topic more deeply. The process of flying between different airports made me aware of my ongoing life movement through various locations. The experience becomes exhausting yet it reveals to me two things about the world which exists beyond my current location.
\nI believe that my personal development process received support from the challenging experience of continuous travel. I continue my search to discover my proper place yet I believe that true belonging exists beyond boundaries of physical spaces.
