Last night I had a basketball game against champions for u18. <\/span>The<\/span> game was at 8:30 pm so I had a good <\/span>amount of time<\/span> to prepare and get ready. Before the game I had school basketball practice for the grade 9 to 10 team at 5:00 to 7:00 so I was already warm and a little bit sore but I was fine because I had already played 2 games right after basketball practice in the last 2 week and I preformed great in both of those games. Anyways right after I finished school <\/span>practice,<\/span> I headed right for the gym that my game was going to be at. <\/span>I got there pretty early at around 7:30 pm and no one was <\/span>here<\/span> yet,<\/span> so I just did some stretching and waited for the rest of my team to get there.<\/span> After 20 minutes my team and the other team had arrived at the <\/span>gym,<\/span> so me and my team went to go warm up by shooting around for a while. After A while of shooting around we were called to our bench and after a quick talk with our coach the game started. <\/span>The game <\/span>started <\/span>of<\/span>\u00a0neutral<\/span>.<\/span> The other team took a two-point lead <\/span>by<\/span> around 5 minutes into the game.<\/span> We had around 8 with me having 6 points. <\/span>As the game continued, the other team expanded their lead by scoring 2 <\/span>three<\/span>s<\/span> in a row.<\/span> We <\/span>were still<\/span> behind a few points<\/span>, but we were catching up. With around 1 minute left in the 1st half the score was 21 to 19 with us behind. So, we were able to catch up. As the score board rang, the first half <\/span>ended<\/span>. After a few minutes of rest the second half had started. The half started <\/span>bad<\/span> for us for some reason this one player on our team <\/span>could not<\/span> guard or box out his man. Around halfway through the second half we ended up being down by 11. <\/span>Also, one of my teammates who was our best player was doing really badly with him, averaging around 20 to 30 points a game and right now he only <\/span>has<\/span> 7.<\/span> We tried to catch up but we were sadly not able to catch as the score board rang and the game ended. The final score was 56 to 41. For me I only had 21 points, and I also had missed a few shots, so I <\/span>did do<\/span> kind of<\/span> bad<\/span> but not <\/span>terrible<\/span>.
