There’s something about the sound of rain that makes everything feel calmer. When it hits the roof or the windows, it’s such a soothing sound for me. I like watching the drops race each other down the glass, leaving trails behind. It’s oddly relaxing, like time pauses for a bit and everything feels still.

Rainy days make everything cozier too. I like staying inside with a blanket, a hoodie, and a good book or movie. I also love nature after it rains, the air smells clean, and even walking outside feels different, everything seems quitter, and the world looks shinier. I like when the puddles reflect the sky. It makes everything look a little more peaceful and alive at the same time.

I think I like the rain because it gives me space to think. When it’s sunny, everyone’s rushing somewhere, always busy. But when it rains, it feels okay to slow down, to just be still for a while.

I get why people hate getting wet or carrying umbrellas, but for me, the rain isn’t annoying…. except when its getting on my hair. It’s peaceful, grounding, and kind of beautiful in its own quiet way.

Most people complain when it rains, but I actually really enjoy it.
