Do you miss me?
\nDo you think about the promises we made?
\nDo you think about my opinion when you make a decision?
\nDo your friends remind you of me sometimes?
\nDo you know your Mom greets me often?
\nDoes your brother notice that I haven’t been at your house? Or your dog?
\nDo you see that everyone noticed?
\nDo you feel the lack of me?
\nDo you know that my Grandpa asks about “Gretchen” because he never learned your name?<\/p>\n
Well, I<\/em> miss you and I<\/em> remember our promises and I<\/em> think about your opinion and everyone<\/em> reminds me of you and my Mom doesn’t get why I haven’t tried to fix things and my<\/em> sister noticed before I told her and I<\/em> know that everyone notices and I<\/em> feel the lack of you like how I feel my feet get sore when I wear my high heels too long\u2013 the ones you never got to see me in because you left me before I could show them to you\u2014<\/p>\n “And Gretchen?” The End of that!<\/strong><\/p>\n Can you tell I was upset when I wrote it?
