Life is something we must learn to cherish. Our individual life is what differentiates us from other people. In 16 years, I have only started to realize that life is short and that we should try to enjoy the time we have to the fullest. Each one of us will experience different things in life, and from these unique experiences, we expand our small understanding of what life is. What we see influences what we do throughout our day. When I was around the age of four I would watch my parents often and at times attempt the things they would do. Our parents play a huge role in our growth, we should respect our parents because they are more experienced than us and they work hard to provide us with a good education.
What we can take away from this is that life is short and that we mustn’t waste the life we have been given. Wasting life would, in my opinion, refer to using up our time in a careless way. For example, we could be spending our time watching a show we love for hours on end, never realizing how much time is gradually passing. Even though we were having fun, think about what you could have done instead of spending that time by yourself. You could have spent some time with your family, or gone to hang out with your friends, or possibly talked to a distant relative from across the world.
To understand what life truly is you must be willing to accept the fact that your time is limited. Every second you are growing both mentally and physically. If you decide to overlook the time you have now, you will only end up regretting your choices later on in life.
